Synapse and by extension razer headphones are trash. The "7.1 surround" is fake ♥♥♥♥ that won't help you when binaural audio is already doing that for you, especially in siege. Siege simulates sound by bouncing it off of walls. Any "sound inaccuracy" you hear that you think your fake surround will fix, it won't.

To add onto this, if you really want surround sound, you're probably gonna want open back studio headphones such as Audio Techinca or Sennheiser. I upgraded from my Razer krakens to the Audio Technica AD ATH700x and I actually do hear a substantial difference in the sound quality, though to be fair, siege has awful sound in the first place.

And yeah, 7.1 is fake, you can download a software and it works on basically any headphones.
