Starter Edition removed
Guys I just bought the standard edition and got 20 operators , suddenly today my friend also got ready to buy the standard edition instead and saw STARTER EDITION was removed and standard was there in the first option .
Do you know why starter edition was removed ?

Ubisoft removed it because it was a painful experience for anyone who bought it and it probably didn’t generate them as much revenue as they expected it to. This new edition system is better but weird things have happened. Tell your friend to buy the deluxe edition, for £2 or equivalent more you get 28 more operators

The starter edition has been replaced with a new base version improves the former Starter Edition progression system, which converts unlocking Operators to the original base game rate – saving players up to 150 hours of gameplay to get the Operators of their choice.

For our active community, all current Starter Edition owners will be granted an automatic upgrade to the new base game transforming your experience of Rainbow Six Siege. Starter Edition players will now unlock Operators at a normal pace, following the original game’s Renown cost. All progression and content previously unlocked will be carried over.
