please help me sort my audio if you can (discord)

In a nutshell, when I play with my friends on discord, their mechanical keyboards are so loud that it's the overwhelming sound I hear from them when I play and it's very annoying.

I've lowered their volume to as low as I can, but then actions such as reinforcing walls and in game volume becomes so loud that I can no longer hear what they are saying.

Do you have recommendations on what to do or how to tune my volume accordingly? Any advice is greatly appreciated

From what it sounds like, this is not on you, your friends need to mess with their audio settings. I use a mechanical keyboard but was able to get my noise gate just right so that no one hears anything other than my voice. Have you tried telling them that their mics are picking up a lot of extra noise?

yes. all three of us have mechanical keyboards. But I am the only one who is putting effort to dampen the sound via settings and placement of mic to keyboard
