What’s a good pair of Earbuds for R6?
R6 has one of the most complicated audio system that I’ve ever encountered in any FPS games. And I was wondering what kind of earbuds are the most compatible for R6. And I specially say ‘Earbuds’ because I notice Pro players like KingGeorge & Beaulo uses them. And I prefer them also because they’re not heavy and it feels very comfortable for me.

All that being said, what kind of earbuds do you guys recommend? Especially for a complicated audio system of R6.

(edit: As a player who’s trying to expose himself into the scene of Competitive pro league, I am trying to adapt myself to using earbuds only as R6 Pro League LANs requires players to use Earbuds. So any suggestions with earbuds would be great!)

Im not judging or anything but a good pair of headphones will do you better than earbuds. Trust me on this, i spent a lot of money on good earbuds and regretted it pretty quickly. Its your choice tho.

Thanks for the suggestion, although I really do prefer earbuds as I am a player who’s trying to adapt to the Competitive pro league scene. And since tournaments requires using earbuds, I’d rather get used to earbuds instead.

Earbuds won't help you. Get some surround sound headphones, search for 5. 1 or 7.1 headphones, logitech and sennheiser make some good ones.

What, why? Are you a pro player? No? Then you dont need earbuds.

Don't believe in the whole SuRrOuNd HeAdPhOnEs MaKe YoU bEtTeR. Its just a waste of money. You can already tweak audio settings and equalizers with regular stereo to give you a bit of an advantage if youre looking for better clarity footsteps. Most games simulate surround on stereo really well with some tricks that involve a whole lot of science. Again not judging, but still it isnt a game changer like they make it out to be.

HyperX cloud earbuds are good. I havent tried the Razer Hammerheads myself, but they also look very nice

Just avoid razer, and go for Audio Technica, Sennheiser or HyperX.
If I'm not wrong we got a forum user with a lot of experience in the audio department, if I'm not wrong his name is @Tramp. He already recommend a great pair of head set & ear buds from a really good brand.
Anyways @OP 1st of all before getting used to ear buds, you should win some GO4 tournaments, Dream hack & Join the challenger league tbh.

Its earbuds, the quality of sound is lower no matter what you wanna say. I totally get why you want ear buds instead of headphones, but when people say stuff like "DONT BUY RAZER STUFF XD" dont listen to them. I have Sennheiser headphones myself, but for ear buds its not as important.
All that is important when it comes to ear buds are 1. Comfort 2. Durability 3. Sound quality.
Sound quality is always compromised when you choose ear buds instead of headphones. Durability is usually about the same on all ear buds, unless they are using extra thick wires, which i havent seen yet.
So it all comes down to comfort.

Look up some reviews on youtube and make your own opinion :)

Well if you compare Audio Technica & Sennheiser to Razer you do see the gap in quality between the brands. Razer per se isn't a bad brand but neither got top of the line quality products but rather overpriced ones imo. Feel free to disagree, my experience with those products might've been different than yours.

Good luck with your selection @OP! (keep in mind that his recommendations are for headsets instead of earbuds, buy you should be able to contact him to ask him about good recommendations).
