Why is ALL chat disabled by default?
I'm the type that usually likes to talk and banter with the enemy team in between rounds, but I noticed that after this update, Ubisoft seems to have disabled the chat by default.

I know you might say "oh, just re-enable it if you want it". I know I can, but that's not my point. There's probably a group of people out there who forgot to turn it back on, or didn't even notice the change, (I know I didn't see the notification at first) who will miss out on people talking in All chat.

Ubi, please revert the change or make it enabled by default.

They did it to limit the toxicity, according to them 80% of all chat was toxic or something like that

Which is odd, because 80% of the ALL chat that Ive seen was discussing how dummy thicc Montagne is.

I love this, Id rather play a game with team chat only than having to see my opponent talking trash, etc.

Kills the mood you know, so yeah.

Even when people forget to turn it on, theres a red text showing it on the chat that you have not enable all chat..

I see no problem here..

Well, sure, they'll see the red warning, but they'll miss any messages that might be posted in all chat. Hell, I know I sometimes mistakenly type in All instead of Team.

Trash talking is something I rarely see in all chat honestly, team voice chat is always much worse, but they'll never disable that, now would they? If anything, I'll rarely see a "gg ez" from the enemy team's bottom fragger, which I find a bit amusing.

It's still too early to tell what kind of effect this will have on the game. I just wish they let us decide if we want it disabled by default or not.

Great question

To turn this on all you need to do is go to: Settings > then in General you should notice 'PC Chat Channel'. This is where you can change this to communicate with everyone

Any trouble just let us know

Can this setting be enabled by default?

Or at least give everyone a prompt to choose which one they want, so nobody forgets this feature.
