It's only bad luck?

Just now I played the whole match, right from the start, with one team mate missing. Lately, quite often I've been playing matches where my team is not full, and I'm getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sick of it! When you encounter a cheater you get your elo back, or removed, but not if one of the players didn't connect or when you have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ piece of ♥♥♥♥ leaver in your team, why doesn't his elo suffer more than yours? Its a pretty similar situation if you ask me, the game is still ruined in any case. It has been like this for years now, will the problem ever be fixed, or will the keep turning the blind eye?

Actually I just came back from the break, to play 3 or 4 matches in a row with one team mate missing. But thanks for the advice, very useful.

It IS still a problem, and I am only pointing it out. It bothers me, I have a problem with it for a long time now. I might have got a little bit carried away when I started this discussion tho, but that's because the wound was still fresh!

Just to add, the team is looking into a fix for situations where you start a match with less than 10 players in the lobby. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts!
