I want the ability to change operator uniform, headgear and such when already in game
I think it would be utterly amazing to allow players to change headgear, uniform and non weapon skins in between rounds or at least at the start of the map.

The ability to switch to a more urban type camo in an urban environment or snow for maps such as Chalet you get the picture.

It would add a lot to matches.

My questions as to how and why this hasn't been done yet.

1. Is there an existing engine limitation that stops character models from reskinning once match has loaded? I just don't know I work in UE not this

2. If not has this just not been asked for yet because it would offer amazing tactical advantages to attackers or defenders on certain maps for blending in.

Thanks for the suggestion! I think having the ability to swap the cosmetics during operator selection would be nice, but I also feel like there isn't a whole lot of time to do all of that and change loadout as well.
I don't particularly agree with the idea of uniforms giving a tactical advantage since it would technically be impacting gameplay. Nevertheless, I can pass the suggestion along. I'm curious how others feel if they think this should also be a feature.

But then again, those games were made on newer and improved engines so they obviously have much more access to that kind of stuff. So I’d assume it’s more that the engine probably won’t let that happen

Bf3 made in 2011, bf4 made in 2013...

this game engine sucks ass it's the same one Assassins Creed was built on back in 2007 just 2 years after BF2s release .

It's almost 13 years old, severely dated suffers from all the same bugs as previous AC and Prince of Persia titles.

It's steaming garbage and honestly I'm shocked the devs have done with it what they have .

Should have been built on UE4 it would have looked and played amazing and would sure as hell not have as many bugs as this the down side being there's no way consoles would have had the power to play it much less the sub par pcs that are right now

Anvil engine is proprietary made by Ubisoft and its why they use it.

Imagine the amount of time, money, and sanity it would take to remake R6S on UE4. Plus their entire dev team would have to learn how to code via UE4 as well so overall it would be a very demanding project that they could even never finish if they were to try it
Sad thing is I'd pay 100 for a properly coded remake of this on UE.
How about they fix know issues and bugs rather than add something that may introduce more issues.

Yeah that's not happening 😂
We've still got the bug where you've gotta switch drones/views to find the bomb/container/hostage and that's been how many years now

TF2 has 0 Bugs and is a game mostly about cosmetics so that is understandable
Pretty sad too cause TF2s been around at least as long as AC
