Yknow that overwolf r6tracker thing, is that allowed? Like, BattleEye doesnt catch that thing?
Like, hows it work? Has Ubi gotten less strict since like a year or two ago on modding or is this a way around? It seems weird to me its not... like... banned? Note: on about the thing to download that keeps getting advertised

As far as I'm aware it's 100% ok. Lots of big names like Pengu and KingGeorge use it.
You're good, you won't get banned for it. Ubisoft hasn't said anything about it.

Thats interesting, does it affect the game itself or read the game then display info in its own panel? If Ubi havent made an exception for it, that would seem like a hole in BattleEye wouldnt it?

It doesn't affect anything, just display information normally hidden. Dunno exactly how it works, but it works.

Thats... really odd. I wonder if Ubi gave that a special exception, cause otherwise cheats could use the same method that uses.

You've got the greenlight to use R6Tracker and R6Tab. :)

Instead of r6tracker, put old information about specific player like in casual incl (rank, k/d w/l) and anyone get rid of using overwolf app

it doesnt get the information ingame, most likely through some ubisoft api

theres a webbased version too, punch in your uplay name and you get your stats, you could do it manually for your opponents too

the only thing ingame it does is add yet another overlay, of which you already got 2 running when playing it through steam, steam overlay (shift+tab) and uplay overlay (shift+f2) and potentially ts/discord overlay (afaik custom binds to trigger, dont ask me what keys)

still... i dont exactly see the benefit of this tracker

well, but what benefit would that give you ingame? you gotta play against them one way or another

Did you greenlight this to be useable or was this something done without you knowing then something you allowed later?

Well it's always nice to know, plus it makes it easier to compile a report against them. At any rate it doesn't hurt you at all, so why not?

i dont say anything against using it, i was merely pointing out my opinion of it being rather useless, thats not the same as being against it

i mean, i dont use hair extensions and find them a rather useless piece of technology, doesnt mean im going around asking legislation to forbid their production :emofdr:
