weird operator unlock/no renown glitch?

For some reason I had the two new DLC ops I haven't gotten yet. I played as them and when the match ended it said I need to be connected to RS's servers in order to get renown so I didn't get renown that round. Anyone know what's causing this?

It's a network disconnection glitch
Basically if you play siege offline you can try out all the operators in a custom game

The game thinks you're offline even though you're in a casual/ranked match and so it gives you all the operators untill you caome back online

I was using a VPN so I wonder if maybe that's what caused it.
