Rainbow Six Siege system requirements

I want to ask if my laptop could handle this game. My friends said it could handle "quite well" if I turn off all the other tasks when I play, because this laptop is kind of "ancient" (according to my friends' sayings).

Below is the system information. The former is mine, the ladder is the game's. I’ll base on minimum requirements, the recommended ones are so out of my league.

2. Game’s requirements:
- OS: Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64bit versions required)
- Intel Core i3 560 @ 3.3 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 945 @ 3.0 GHz
- 6 GB RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD 5870 (DirectX-11 compliant with 1GB of VRAM)

Not enough ram and poor mobile processor.
Dont count on it.
If you manage to launch game you will have fps far below 60 frames even at lowest settings and you will be only good for your friends target practice.

Your gpu is also kinda weak... your laptop is not a gaming laptop. Its a socialmedia laptop good for low proces software like word and powerpoint etc

Actually it goes smoothly when I play Rocket League or CSGO. My friends also said it could run the game when I set the lowest settings which makes me wonder these days. Are they trying to get me buy the game and be their practice target? LOL

i guess, but on a full desktop on high settings and a GTX 1060 3gb i only get a 100 fps xd and with a i3 and a 920m ur not gonna make low settings mate

i guess, but on a full desktop on high settings and a GTX 1060 3gb i only get a 100 fps xd and with a i3 and a 920m ur not gonna make low settings mate

Or save up for a desktop :) you can also look for a MSI laptop from last year

Got myself a msi GE62 Apache pro for school :) i7-6700hq and a gtx 960m would easy run siege

Well you can buy it and ask for refund according to steam policy. So far I refunded 5 or more games without problems.
However I suspect your firends either didn't readed system requirements or want to play with you when you have very unfavourable conditions of the game.
Either no matter if they are ignorant or evil but I think you shouldnt bother to play R6S.
Even in modern times your PC is more than social media laptop. You can play most of 3-4 years old games. Some modern games will also run if they have good quality of code and arent heavily based on newest technologies.

If you are live in europe you know that last few days were hot. Perhaps your cooler couldnt compensate?
