Unfair suspension - is it possible for someone to hack your character and then commit team kills?
I have no idea what happened here but I would like if you could please give me your feedback.

I was playing a ranked game, and then I had a deliberate griefer on my team, who shot 4 of my rifle shields on my Blackbeard until they broke in two different rounds. He did this when no enemies were around at all, so it was definitely on purpose and done solely to grief me. I asked him in team chat why he was doing this, then he lied and said he never did it, which started a debate among the other allies on my team, some of who were saying he didn't, even though he certainly did.

Then in the third round after he started griefing me, we were on Defense. I played Rook.

I was reinforcing a wall about 30 seconds after the match started, then all of a sudden a saw a bunch of my allies coming up as dead, but I had no idea why.

Then about 3-5 seconds after that, I was no longer in the game, and I received a message that I was "suspended for excessive team killing."

Except I didn't kill anyone on my team as far as I know. And if I did, it certainly was not on purpose.

I can't think of any possible way how many of my allies could have died so fast to my Rook even if I were trying to kill them, which I wasn't.

All I did was reinforce the wall, and then I got kicked out of the game and suspended for 30 minutes.

The only possible scenario I could even fathom where I might have accidentally killed a bunch of team mates at once is if I had pressed my grenade key by mistake. But I don't think I did. There was no animations or sounds of a grenade being thrown on my screen.

So, it makes me wonder if it's possible the griefer guy hacked me, and then caused what appeared on my screen to be different than what was actually happening in the game, whilst he took control of my character and deliberately TKed everyone with my character?

What is your explanation for what happened here?

Also, now I'm sure I have 4 illegitimate griefing reports against me for intentional TKing, even though I never did any intentional TKs. Is there anything I can do to remove that?

I have no idea what a goyo shield is as I'm a newbie who just started a week or two ago.

But thanks for the answer. I would have had no idea whatsoever what happened if you hadn't had told me there.

If I open a support ticket with Ubisoft, can they investigate this matter and access data of this game I'm referring to in order to prove that's what happened, and punish the griefers accordingly?

That's very unfair that now I probably have false griefing reports against me, submitted by the griefers whom I am a victim of and because of whom I was falsely suspended as a result of their griefing.
As I mentioned on the other thread, this is an interaction the team is looking back into. I do not have any updates on this investigation at this time. I do understand it is an unfair situation for you, especially as a newer player.

Right now I'm on the Ubisoft support website and it seems structured in a way as if to imply they don't care about issues like this.

When I go to create a case with the options selected as "Player Reports, Bans, and Sanctions" and "My Account was Banned or Sanctioned" and "Account Temporarily Banned," then it puts a message on the screen that says:

"You have been removed from the game. You can resume gameplay once the suspension has expired.

Ubisoft will not remove temporary suspensions."

...and there is no option provided on the website even to open the case with those fields selected.

So that is basically a huge disincentive for people who were victims to report the kind of griefing as is being described in this thread, which in turns gives the griefers free reign to continue terrorizing many other players.

After writing the above part of this post, I switched one of the fields to "Report a player," and the options to choose came up as "Report a Username, "Report Avatar," "Report cheating, "Report Harassment."

I guess this falls into the Harassment categories more than the others?

What are the best selection of options I should choose on the "open a case" web page in order hopefully to get this incident in front of some Ubisoft employees who might care to do something about it?
Ubiosft Support cannot remove temporary sanctions from accounts, they do not have the ability to.
Regarding players that are abusing the Goyo interaction, you should report them under the Report Harassment section. Griefing is considered harassment in this case. Thank you for creating a report as well!

you need to be more aware if you're playing by yourself. 10% of this game is "hacking" in some way and about 30-40% of it is toxic af a good portion of the time. Specifically with goyo though, always assume the player is up to shady ♥♥♥♥ and listen / watch where he puts his shields.

goyo is the new male op, he places a shield down that can blow up, releasing a bunch of fire on the ground for about 12 seconds or so.

Less than .5% of this game is hacking lmao.

Thank you for being proactive about reporting players and helping us identify behaviors so we can further prevent it from happening.

just got goyo'd :(
they really need to fix that, like if a goyo dies to himself alot, or goyo takes lots of damage from shield at start of round, ubi should investigate

There is an old post, so I'm going to go ahead and lock it up, as necro-ing old posts is against the forum rules. If you're passionate about it, please make a new post.
