I personally run ACOG/Holo depending on my mood, barrel will always be Flash Hider. Sometimes laser, sometimes not.

Use flash hider on most guns. Compensator is for guns with bad horizontal recoil. And muzzle brake is really for dmr's.

I'm terrible with the gun regardless, but I've found that running a Holo and Flash Hider on it makes the gun just a bit easier to handle. It's all about preference though, so mess around with some combinations and see what works for you! :)

I like muzzle brake and acog.
For reference what the muzzle attachments do if you aren't aware: muzzle brake -45% vertical recoil first shot, returns to center faster 45%, I like it best for c8 because the first shot has huge vertical recoil but after that the gun is pretty controlable. Flash hider -5% vertical first shot -5% recoil diamond, return to center 5% faster, shunts muzzle flare outside of the sight area, pretty useful all around. Compensator -45% recoil diamond.
