Ubisoft made $440 millon dollars in revenue from Siege on 2018.

I wonder when we will get better quality servers, than our current azure "meh tier" 60hz servers.
So guys do you think we will ever get better servers?

aww boo hoo
next time tell us ubisoft should lock the framerate to 24 since some people are stuck with that?

no but seriously thats no argument...
Yep, I still don't understand how better quality servers will be bad for people, with lower end hardware.
The only thing against it would be some weird technical limitation they have with their engine. And even that could be fixed after a some time (and considering the servers arent actually that costly nowadays and only get cheaper as we speak)

Well, let's see and hope we get actually upgrades.

Users on lower end PC's and internet connections would be screwed over as they wouldn't be able to take in all of those updates from the servers.
I personally got a 5 Mbps internet, and the 128hz servers of CSGO are way better than the 60hz Siege got atm, imo.

My specs are:

I5-8300 h.
GTX 1050 ti.
8 GB ram 2667Mhz.
1 TB SSD.

I haven't heard about a case that a company due upgrading servers, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up with people with low end hardware & bad / slow internet connection. Could you please, provide me proof about it? Thanks in advance!

i got 1mb/s download and the same in upload
aka a 1k connection
128tick servers work well in csgo, even if i aint the only one playing and my brother plays as well
judging from that a 0.5k connection would be enough.....

it still depends on where you live, not everyone lives near the servers thus the 5mbps connection might not be enough, that's also why Valve hasn't upgraded the official MM servers to 128 tick and only 3rd party services and community servers have it

distance doesnt matter in this case, the latency would stay the same....

if it would be an issue then everyone with a ping over 16.6666 would already be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ as thats the time between 1 tick on a 60hz server (60hz meaning 1/60th of a second per tick) and surprise nearly noone has a lower ping than that in siege
