Is it me or are there too many operators?
Don't get me wrong, I like the game but I think they got carried away with all these different operators. It feels too messy, too disorganized. It feels like it's there mostly to keep making money off gamers as you will have to grind night and day to be able to unlock even one extra operator with a slightly different ability. I miss the old days of Wolfenstein and TF2 where there were 5 or so "general" classes (like assault, medic, demolition, scout, etc). Now that would be too basic for this game but I guess you would be able to organize your class specifically on your playstyle. For instance, demolition would pick between the slege, fuze, thermite equipment, but be limited in weapons to pick from whereas assault would be open to all weapons and armor but be limited in equipment. Something like that. Anyways, it's just an idea. No way will Ubisoft reorganize the game this late into its life. Maybe something for the sequel?

I'm sorry Jan 16, 2019 @ 2:56pm
Tbh there arent many operators and new operators only make the game more fun by forcing people to change tactics.

For example:
When they released nomad players now have to be carefull while roaming so they wont fall into airjab and get themself killed.
Or kaid, now hatch can be electrified and make ot even safer to anchor on the objective.

Oh and tbh a new sequal would only ruin the game.
This game doesnt have that many players and putting alot of money on another game that didnt have a big community could lose alot of money for ubisoft.

I think he is right. It's too messy too unorganized. You got 3 different shields difference is one can flash the other can cover 180 Degree en the other can elektroshock... It's just too much of the same no real big diversity.

I liked rainbow six when the operators where plain simple and just had their own uniq skill now you got different operators basically using the same skill. I understand it brings new tactics to the table but operators deserve a spot into the game aslong as they are uniq don't add new operators just because people get to pick from more characters..

Well they have to earn money somehow, main goal is to break player patience and force him to spend money to buy credits, thats why its set on such high and painful to reach renowns

Yeah im right now even just leaving operators out just because i do not feel the need to buy them i rather just buy some skins or something. Like there are operators which are good to have and important but right now so many that some just feel not important to have. Stil the maps are welcome.. Operators too but make them uniq..

Yep, well said. It's quality over quantity. Operators should be unique in abilities (like medic / demolitions / recon / assault / etc).

Well Siege it's an arcade competitive shooter, that got a bit of moba features due the hard counters, soft counters, minor counters, etc.
Also the devs got the ambition of get 100+ operators in game.

Well if everything goes fine, that goal should be done by December of 2025.
