What's this symbol next to my name?
I logged onto siege this morning and I can't speak or hear in game chat. This disconnect symbol was put in place of the regular microphone symbol on the scoreboard. It's also on the top right of my name in the main menu, shown here. https://imgur.com/a/UJhMjwP I have no idea what to do to fix it.

I would send a support ticket in. I do not know if you are running into one large glitch / problem or if it's two being triggered at the same time.

Yeah I should do that, however live support ended an hour ago for New Years. I might have to wait this one out.

does it actually only affect siege ? does your mic work normal when in other games or when you test it in windows ?
if it's everywhere it might be your mic is broken , a loose wire or something went wrong in a driver update ? (when i have gfx driver updates etc it always wants to reset my audio settings to my monitor etc)
if it's only in siege it might be the game detecting the wrong or no mic at all and if nothing changed in ingame audio settings it might indeed be a bug.

I just checked my microphone properties and checked "Listen to this device" and it works completely fine. My audio settings are completely normal. In Siege I reset my audio settings twice, and checked them at least ten times over and nothing is working.

Yes I did. The game just fixed itself. It took a break from Siege for like a day and it fixed. If you have a serious issue with it I have no idea how to fix it, sorry.
