MSI Afterburner is crashing
MSI afterburner is crashing not r6 but the program itself crashes every time i launch which is causing me to lose my custom fan curve if i forget to relaunch the program after r6 launches

Is anyone else having this issue? I have tried reinstalling afterburner and riva to no avail.

Yup, this has been happening to me for weeks now. Not sure if it was doing it before because I just recently got back into Siege. I found this via Google search, I actually launch R6 via Uplay.

Apparently, it has something to do with BattleEye. I have to do additional searches because other forums are starting to use search functions which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb when people can land there from a Google search and not get an answer other than "search again".
I have no problems... have you downloaded the latest version of MSI afterburner for your model specifically ??

It does appear to be Battle Eye. The solution right now is to set After Burner to kernel mode. Which is under Settings > General> Compatability properties> Enable low-level hardware access interface.

I just tested it myself and it does work.

Is there anything dangerous about setting it to kernal mode? I'm having this same issue and unsure what that setting does so I'd like to know before changing it

My msi afterburner doesnt have the option for Enable low level hardware access interface. This really sucks. Every time I launch R6 my Msi afterburner closes and I get into a match and start getting choppy 30 fps because my gpu is at 87 degrees celsius.
