Struggle as a Female Player

Maybe someone posted about this before but I wanted to hear other peoples experience as well as hearing opinions about what happens to me in this Game on a daily bases.

I make it short:
I feel like as a female player in this game its not easy, like at all. People curse at you, call you slurs, tell you to get back into the kitchen to make them a sandwhich, call you alot of degrading names, insult you more for how you play, kick/TK/injure you more.
Mostly People say to me I am not a woman, I sound like a squeaky little boy playing on its big Brothers Computer. (This people give me insecurities about my voice which I already disliked to begin with)
I am having struggles to Communicate to my Teammates by voice cause I am afraid they just do what I told above over and over again.

Is there other people who can confirm that? Or am I just being unlucky cause I dont match peoples skill/expectations? Is there just too many trolls? Am I just unlucky to get the worsed of the worse?

I am probably looking for an explanation that does not exist. Though I am still curious.

On a side note: This is my first multiplayer shooting game.

The game used to be fine with few but nice people , now is like some sort of cs go as community , is not actually your bad . Try to play the game with some friends or just ignore the haters.

Here's an idea: play the game and stop trying to shove it in peoples' faces you're female. Literally nobody cares. Feminism is as stupid as whatever the male equivelent is. Seriously this thread is a make me feel special corner. Everyone that's played an online game before has experienced toxicity. People are just using your gender as an insult just like how people will try and find out anything about you to insult you. Don't pretend like their are no options because you're a women.

Of course every gamer, male or female, who plays online competitive multiplayer games experiences insults and harrasment but you're stupid as ♥♥♥♥ if you don't believe that females experience more toxicity than males in gaming. Gaming is full of incels so of course they will lash out at females when they get the opportunity.

I think though that females tend to be less able to handle the bants. They tend to take insults more personally and seriously than males do it seems. I think this is probably one of a number of reasons why the majority of serious gamers tend to be males.

Whenever I hear a female on the mic, which is incredibly rare, I pay attention to how people treat them. In my last few hundred hours or so of play I've come across only 2 females who talked on mic. Neither was harassed or treated differently for it. One didn't play the whole game though, she left early- either got mad and ragequit after being killed or had to go (we won that game anyways, though).

That sucks! i think its pretty cool that girls play this game! (have to admit though that young children can sound like girls -> guilty) but in my experience girls are really nice, and everyone is really nice to them. Sucks to hear otherwise! i suppose the only thing you can do is mute and hope you find the friendly peeps in the community :)

People love to hate, not much you can do about. Some games you get friendly teammates but most of the time you will hear trashtalk, just like any other multiplayer game.

You got 3 options to avoid it completely.
Play with friends only
Mute everyone
Stick to singleplayer games

I rarely have the HONOUR to play alongside gamer grills but whenever I have its like all the guys have gone out of their way to be as nice and forgiving-and-forgetting to them as humanly possible.

Theres always the few who crack basic kitchen jokes but its always been in a sort of lighthearted way, though unjustifiable.

Be honest, how good are you at the game? How often do you get kills, how often do you save a round or carry a crap team? People will always find ways to bully other players who dont fit their criterias of deserving approval.

When a game becomes mainstream it attracts trash, this game is full of trash.

Sora Yaoi, I suggest that you find people to play with in the R6 Seige Discord, they are much less likely to be hostile to you and there are a few gamer grills who play quite often.

girls are usually really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying and have to talk about day to day problems rather than actually playing the game. so if ur doing that like 99% of women that play online games where voice chat is crucial then thats why they ♥♥♥♥ with you so much

girls are annoying when they play games
they get super petty
and they talk way too much

Yes there are idiots who when they her voice of a grill they immediately start saying stupid ♥♥♥♥, screw those kids, but most gamers don't really do this.

Maybe, doesn't make them a special group that can never be insulted for doing dumb stuff.
