Do NOT buy cracked R6S accounts.

I made the mistake of buying a cracked account from a website which I will not name to use as a smurf account since I did not wanna spend another 15$ for a game I already owned and have to level it to rank 20 to play comp.

I was Plat 1, which was the highest I have ever been, and since I did not wanna lose it, I decide to purchase a cheap smurf to mess around at my main Gold 1 - Plat 3 level without fear of losing my shiny rank up until next season. I purchased the account and I log in only to see it has been Battleye Banned, and that the seller had sold the same account to numerous people, one of which cheated and got the account banned. I decide to purchase a new starter edition account on my second steam account and it was instantly banned. This account was brand new by the way, level 0 on my first casual, only have been ever used by me with no programs running in the back. Confused, i log onto my main from 2015 which I spent 120$ on and it was instantly banned.

TLDR : Logged in with a banned account which I did not know was banned from a sketchy seller, BE flagged my IP and or HWID and banned all accounts associated with it, including my main from 2015 which I spent 120$ on. I feel like the ban was unjustified since I have never cheated in any game, but I should not have and am at fault for purchasing a cracked account. Don't do the same mistake I made.



I have submit an appeal but I doubt it will be repealed since I did infact break the TOS by purchasing a cracked account, which I am 99% certain goes against their TOS. I am mostly making this as a PSA since on other games, if you buy a cracked account, there is little to no risk, worst things that happens is Russian runs away with your dollar, or owner changes account password and you lose access after few weeks. Here, there is a genuine risk of getting banned and being unable to play Siege unless you buy a new PC

There is A LOT of people who buy cracked accounts with little to no issue, I have myself for years up until now. In my opinion, people shouldn't be permanently banned unless they get multiple toxicity infractions or cheat

I wasn't banned for breaking TOS, it was because I logged into my PC with a banned account which flagged all accounts on my PC, including my main. It sucks, I did not cheat, I shouldnt be PERMA banned for this

well, you also shouldn't buy a cracked account, which can fall under the tos, either by using a person to boost an account (ie a bought account.) or by using someone elses account which steam also has tos agreements against.
