Tips to help learn maps?

It's extremely frustrating as a solo queuer to queue into maps I have no idea how to navigate/call out. I need to play maps consistently to get to know them but it's hard to do that considering there is no feature that allows you to choose which maps you want to queue into for ranked (Which I'm not sure why this isn't an option?). Any tips you guys can offer?

My first ranked game was when I was about level 80. Playing lots of casual helped me learn the maps as well as possible sites. Jumping into ranked as soon you hit lvl 20 never helps. Playing roaming operators helps a great deal

Casual, single-player operations, terrorist hunt, google the map layouts (if you have a second monitor have the maps on the second monitor)

play a custom game with yourself, extend the mission time, start the game, and you're free to roam around and learn the map.
either that or play a lot of casual games and hope you get that map so you can get a deeper understanding on the flow of the map
