Shotguns should be allowed headshot kills again. Maybe at a range of 10m.
I'm pretty sick of using a semi and clearly headshotting some dude at point blank. I'm used to firing once at the head, and forgetting, because they should be dead.

For those who don't know, shotguns in this game used to get one hit kill headshots. This was in the first year. The reason why they removed this is because the whiny "pros" complained about being headshotted by them from huge distances (fair enough, I wouldn't want to get spawnpeek headshotted by a hipfire shotgun from 9999999 meters),but rather than suggesting that they give shotgun headshots a damage falloff, they told ubi to remove it completely.

I think shotgun headshots should come back. Anyone else? Shotguns are already bad enough, we need to make them better again.

I only think the center pellet should headshot clean and at all ranges.

That's something I discussed with a friend. One pellet always goes directly where your crosshair is. That one pellet could potentially have a longer headshot range to reward good aim.

This game is always inconsistent and that's the magic of thinking outside the box instead of doing the same things over and over. Shotguns should be able to do headshots again up close. There are some instances where the enemy is 3m in front of you that survived 3 buckshots to the face and still survive with at least 40 hp. Even though a bullet helmet should be enough to stop pistol rounds from far away, but this game is based on 1 shot headshot with literally anything.

It's the simplest solution without anyone feeling "cheesed" despite the actually difficulty of using a shotgun in even a realistic game like say DayZ or escape from tarkov where a shotgun will always kill in 1 up till maybe 50 meters... simply based off ammunition control, the lack of a scope, having to get close enough to the enemy and having to shoot central the hitbox etc... shotguns are extremely hard to use despite how this community might feel about them. It'd be atleast fair to have this change since every other weapon is capable of killing in a headshot at any range... there's a same criteria being met.

Also if Ubi is listening - and look into this change, they should also buff the BOSG's damage so it's not a 2-shot DMR meme gun but a really deadly weapon even at very long range. Maybe add extra recoil to balance this.

What? Heavy takes 2headshot while everyone else died from a single headshot.
Especially that on map of capture the intelligence with that one Bridge is a Sniper heaven.
Rarely? No, it's super common.
Alright, let me help you here cause bingo, bango, I play TF2 on this account and Siege on my other. You're talkin' bout 2Fort, Sniper War City. You can 1 Shot any class as Sniper, but you have to let your shot charge fully. Instant shots without the charge can kill Scouts, Snipers, Spies, and (maybe) Pyros. Fully charged can take out any class.

TF2 has Headshots. Sniper does most of the Headshot kill.
Quake has Headshots used by the Railgun.

Do you even play TF2? If you fully charge the sniper rifle you can 1 shot any class except when they're overhealed.
