Sound effects not playing
This is a bug I have been having on and off since the game came out. It has persisted through multiple sound setups and sound cards.

Sometimes random sounds will not play.

The easiest way to trigger this is to have multiple players repel at the same time. Instead of hearing each individual repelling noise, they will cut each other off and only play one.

I have had all sorts of sounds not play, from gunshots to footsteps to even thermite charges. It is not an issue of being behind a wall or anything like that, it is a bug (when the thermite charge did not play sound, I could still hear his footsteps for example).

Right now I am wondering if it has anything to do with muting music, as that has previously caused huge issues with the sound in the game (there was awhile while music volume affected footstep volume).

Has any one else has this issue and fixed it?

I will do that, but I have also seen other players report this problem in the past 2 years, so I thought they may be aware of it by now. But maybe nobody submitted it.

UbiNoty says they are looking into it here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Rainbow6TTS/comments/9kr42t/october_03_2018_test_server_patch_notes/

"We're investigating it and are working to address it. So definitely please send in a report (ubi.li/dh6zz) if this has become a major problem for you. Since this particular glitch is difficult to consistently reproduce, it requires more time and information for us to be able to find and identify the likely causes so we can create a fix."

So if anyone else is also having this please do report. This game is getting so buggy it is driving me nuts.
