Ive done this on 2 accounts placed in gold and have yet to get banned. With around 200 hours each

For 7 hours you can get up to 35k renown

I dont do it alone because you only get 20 renown meaning that in 7 hours you would only get around 4k renown

you can get banned for toxic behavior

works incredibly well, you don't even need a macro of any kind, just show up at the start of the match, blow yourself up or do something stupid that gets you killed, then go back to cleaning your house. Come back next round to rinse and repeat until the match is over. You will spend at most 20 seconds of your time per round and will get around 90 renown minimum for a little over a min of your time vs spending 9+ min trying to maybe get 350 renown. The math is heavily in favor of the afk farm strat, especially if you watching netflix or something and just farming in the background.
