game capped at 60 fps in borderless

i get 110 fps on very high settings in fullscreen, but caps at 60 in borderless mode. help!!

I never really understood why people care if their fps is capped at 60... I mean if it is 110 fps in fullscreen it's bound to not get lower in borderless! Like really, it shouldn't matter if the fps is capped or not, as long as you can maintain 60 fps at all time, which you obviously can :P

cause i just bought a 144hz monitor and i want to get 144 fps on my 1080

well then why play in borderless? if you're maintaining only 110 fps in fullscreen, you'll never get to 144 fps in borderless :P

because i use 2 monitors and alt tabbing in full screen is cancer. and i plan on lowering graphic settings if i can get passed 60 fps in borderless

i think its an issue with r6, ive tried googling and no1 has a solution. i guess r6 just wont go above 60 frames for borderless =(. thanks for the help though!

are you using DVI or HDMI? HDMI won't run more than 60frames

since you are running on a dual monitor (and the 2nd monitor is not 144hz I presume) and playing in borderless maybe the game cap it up to the max of your 2nd monitor because it has the lowest refresh rate. Or maybe your 144hz monitor is set to 60hz on the desktop. Just a suggestion there.

Borderless cant be highter then 60 fps cuz it doesnt support it. I have the same with it.

I run full screen with a gtx 1060 3gb on high 115fps 60hz monitor... you should get atleast 150fps tho with a gtx1080.... what cpu do you use
