tbh, I wouldn't care if they added a trans op to the game. Or an op who is openly gay or bi. It wouldn't bother me since i'm bi myself and have a couple of gay friends.
Anyways, adding an op like that would diversify the characters imo.

well there was someone to enlist as a female navy seal but she dropped out. but it's entirely plausible that a female in the unforseen future will become a seal.
