How to counter Blitz solo?

I've been in lots of situations with shields character. The main way to counter them is melee twice but with Blitz, he seems to recover from the stun faster than anyone else. In a 1v1 gun fight, he just flashes and rushes. Anyone found a way to counter him effectively?

Basically anything that shoots at least somewhat fast should work

Try to prone while hes sprinting.And shoot him on the legs.If he close on you then there no chance to kill him rather to fall back or you get flash by Blitz.

If you aren't 1 speed, shoot at his shield and run away. Don't not shoot at him. Shooting the shield disrupts his hipfire accuracy.

If he's looking right at you, his shoulders could be exposed.
