Solution? Take away all chat. Team chat only in all modes. That solves it, right?
Not really. It produces more salt because since you can't publically diss someone, you have to either suck it up or PM them. Which in turn created a lot more hostility than ever necessary, with the battles getting stale at the silence.
Yes, WoT is a lot more casual while R6S is the opposite(?). That does serve the argument of all chat being subjectively optional. To me, most offensive comments actuallly spring from your teammates, not the OPFOR. If the OPFOR has a salty teammate who talks ♥♥♥♥, it doesn't hurt but boost your ego(lol) so that you got more confidence.
The hurtful remarks coming from someone of your own team would hurt the overall spirit and attitude of the team, possibly affecting performance in a negative manner. Not to mentions that attacks via PMs would be higher if all chat is taken away for either side to spit some hate.
Besides, it's not all about spitting petty insults and salt. You might make some friends on the way by banters.
Just my 2 cents.
Otherwise how will Ubi ban people based on what they chat ingame if they can't diss the OPFOR? lol
Oh and another game where a person to another asked he wanted to lick hios ,,,, so yea i think the bans are justified and if you can not talk properly to people then you should not be in the game since most people can.
I am sure these people can go out in public and talk normally so they can do it online to.
Also, that's not the topic of discussion.
Anyways it can reduce the "trash talk" to none against the opfor team, which is good I guess. Also it will reduce the people banned unless they get angry with their teammate's and start using the "forbidden words".
I agree.
Edit: That could be a better solution than the current bot filter that bans people.
and on the other hand they need an option to disable All Chat in options (if they haven't already since I don't really check)
