that's not good, 1.0+ is good. It's not the K/D that helps you get diamond, it's the W/L

I think you k/d doesn't get considered to rank up but anyways i have a 1.0 k/d and im silver 4 soo.. no offense but your should try harder

There are some Smurfs that have 13 k/d and aren't diamond so yeah k/d doesn't matter at all

In diamond I have a 2W/L and a 1.6 K/D. KD doesnt mean anything if you cant play as a team.

Pro league players are good but they are not that good. Let's take a look at that from mathematical point of view: it is simply impossible to get 13 kills in every single match without dying at least once. So it is cheater or boosted kdr.

Well .3 K/D means for 10 deaths you get 3 kills... In the scheme of things, thats not great but overall, K/D will not matter as much as good teamwork and communication between team members. The W/L is the stat that really shows what kind of player you are and how you perform with a team. But if you wanted to know, most Platnum I and Diamond players usually have around a 1.5-2.0 KD which means for every 10 times they die the kill between 15 to 20 OPFOR.

Most plats and diamonds I see sit around a 1.0 to 1.3. The reason being is they are generally facing other great opponents.

my W/L is 0.2
