Y3S2: OPERATION PARA BELLUM - BOMB DEFUSE CHANGE

They seem keen on changing the defusing style in the game.

Heres why I LIKE the current method.

1. It creates intensity with the time allotted for the player to defuse the situation (bomb). Each time you hit the clock ticks down. Adding a generic Doki style hack animation for defusing the bomb or nullifying the defuser may be less chaotic and noisy giving a chance for the defenders to actually destroy the defuser but it just doesn't seem as epic.

2. I've actually won games where by hitting it once and going back into ADS quickly thus baiting the other player thinking he/she has a easy pick off while I am in the defuse act because they hear me hitting it.

What ya'll think?


P.S the OPERATION PARA BELLUM image in the artcle reminds me of Gladiator.

I honesty don't like the idea either. Because what if someone planted the defuser upstairs bedroom on Oregon and a defender decides to go to the kitchen, stood on the desk, gets close enough to the ceiling under the defuser, and defuses it? It would cause some confusion and unfairness.

Like the two said above this will be abused in some way. I also dont like it as it makes way less noise

It will probably make a distinct sound at the beginning of the process, like you know, some game that they are more and more copying as the time goes

Though I guess it makes more authentic sense to defuse it with some other means than just hitting it like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with the stock of your gun

Well the only thing that does the new defusing animation is give even more value to drones. Basically since the "defusing noise" will not be reliable at all, you will either need to be really close to the defuser or have any sort of visual confirmation via drone.

I knoooow, sound in this game is so worthless yet fanboys still defend it.
I live in a CONCRETE AND BRICK apartment and still can hear people through walls even on the floor below. Meanwhile you can barely hear a thing through cardboard walls in the game. Sound just behaves so badly in this game, almost like its a liquid instead of of an audio wave.

you can still do it with the old one, on coastline aswell

Agree, sounds in this game sucks a lot. I have bought 7.1 headgear not for being confused from what floor sounds came...
