At times it's disheartening. But one great thing about Siege is the sheer amount of support you can bring and good tactical decision making. I make such a good web of Lesion traps these days and it really helps the team's fraggers to do their job better.
Let me give you some advice, don't. It's an awful experience, toxic teamkillers in literally every casual, no communication in ranked because everyone is in parties, terrible players. Graphics are awful on there, can't stand it.
You will never go up higher than silver(maybe gold4 if you are lucky with your teammates) using controller.
Most people in the game are just shocked to find out i'm playing this way. It might seem impossible to compete, but actually i think it probably just makes you even more of an unselfish, team player this way.
Oh really? How did you find the experience of playing alongside and against gold/silver players?
I didn't ask to be at this rank, but the first few matches in placement were wins so they tested me against some platinums and i even saw one diamond in there too! It's super stressful. Some of the things i'm witnessing - its nothing like casual. Reminds me of the footage i watch of the pro league at times.
Did you have any strats for staying alive? Did you play support roles too? And did you find you could rank higher on console?
The experience was quite satisfying if I recall, but frustrating at the same time. I couldn't go further than silver.
