Is mouse macro a bannable offense?
I just got my shiny G402 and decided to take a deep look into his configurations to change dpi buttons to keyboard keys so i can bind those to gadgets, etc.
But with a few features i realized that i can make a autoclick thing and if it is used with dmr's like dokkaebi's mk14 is really good, since i have some kind of problem when it's about clicking fast (i loose way too much acurracy)... So i was wondering, is this tipe of macro a bannable offense?

Thanks, so no full auto macros... But what about changing dpi keys to a certain keyboard key or making a burst macro? Is it bannable too?

Changing dpi keys should be fine, but a burst macro may get you banned if someone records & report you or if during a battle eye scan that burst macro is detected rip account.

Even the burst? My old mouse (a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ multilaser one) had a burst button that was there only to press the lmb 3 times... It's wrong to make a macro on this new one that have the same function?

just cause it was on the mouse doesnt mean it was okay to use
it gives you an unfair advantage over other players so you'll probably get banned

Just to bee 100% sure i opened a chat with ubisoft's custommer support... He was kinda negative about it too. Guess i will need to get used to it that way.
Anyway, thanks everyone that tried to help. That's all

You won't be banned for a macro regardless of what it does.

Logitech supports scripting though and if someone recorded you using a no recoil script or something its possible you could be banned.

while he might be negative about it I'm sure you're technically not supposed to use a rapid fire macro there is no way anyone could possibly know. The guns have a fire rate limit and most people can reach that without a macro so nobody could know if you were using one.

Yes. I have phrases set to my macro keys to instantly type some sentences.

you cant get banned if its hardware based like your mouse or keyboard are programable as that runs like a driver and no anti-cheat can see it reguardless the only way you can get banned for macros is if its detected from a third party program like auto-it scripts
