How to deal with Vigil?

Since I started playing Siege again I only get killed by Vigils literally all the time when I attack.
With "Every Time" I really mean Everytime. I never spot him, he's fast as sanic and his weapons are freaking strong. A lot of Vigils sniped me with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Shotgun or the smg (despite the high end recoil) over the whole map. This operator really ruins my game expierence.I already watched some Anti Roamer guides but they didn't really help me

I already thought about that but I also wanna play some characters like Fuze, who has to be above the objective room. And even if I see them earlier they'll still get me due to their higher mobility and lower ADS.

Easy, sound ♥♥♥♥♥ as best u can, u can hear him even when he walks as quietly as he can when he crouches, I always drone areas b4 I go in, and even then, be extremely cautious...

9/10 i play siege for fun though so I die... but to a cav and get interrogated xD

Fight fire with fire? Play Ash who's also a 3 speed with an insane gun. Or if you're dead set on fuze just go fuze shield if you can't out gun him. If neither of those options suit you maybe try going someone who can flush out ops with their gadget like Ying or Zofia.

You must become the vigil.
But not really

Drone him out, if you see white lines, he is near. If the white lines are taking up almost the entire screen, he is sitting on your drone. Like a game of hot and cold. If getting sniped is a problem, run a shield with you, so he can't just insta headshot you. If you don't want a shield, play yeackle (jackal), as he is op af. Vigil can't give you trouble if you track him down and pump 50 shots of lead into his face

u might want to play IQ because her scanner detects vigil's cloack and u can trace headshot him thru walls as if u had wallhax.
