Cuz his gadget can allow him to toss gu mine and his gun has low recoil. Hes 2 speed 2 armor operator.

Since his gadget makes for a good enemy detection tool it can make for some easy kills on enemies traversing the map.

I do agree.

Longest he lives more useful he is.

But people do whatever they want.

I main lesion and he does a great job of locking down rooms off OBJ. I can impede the enemy progress and get a few kills just by holding a room with gu mines in the area around it

Its mainly because most roamers suck. They hide far away from objective and only come back when the objective is taken. They then get maybe 1 to 2 kills because the enemy will try to rush the final guy. Then they act like its everyone else's fault when he didn't bother to flank at all while the enemy is pushing.

Yeah... there's already plenty of great dedicated roamers in this game; Cav, Vigil and hell, even Jager roams better... there's no need to take a speed 2 roamer and risk sacrificing his ability early when just hiding in one corner of the obj and SATURATING gu needles on access points throughout the round makes him a hell lot more useful. In fact, the longer the opfor takes to push the obj, the more dangerous it gets for them as gu needles build up, that should be the feeling Lescion gives to the attacking side, a sort of pressure to push on the obj early.. but seriously, thats not been the case in casual or low ranked. For those who uses gu needles as early warning... hell, throwing down bard wires while roaming with Jager works better... think about it!

Well like I said, most roamers are incompetent. They wait until the last minute and then die while retaking objective.
