Turning the Dynamic Range to Night Mode will limit how high the game audio will go on the highest volume sound effects in the game. So gun fire, nades and I'm guessing 'flash nades' will not peak as high in volume.
But already softer sounds will not be effected, like footsteps.
Personally, I hate the "simulated ringing of ears" thing too. I think the game audio should just cut off if you are flashed and slowly come back afterward.
The pitch is too high and the flash may be too bright and disorienting in real life. Other games tone their flash bangs down for a reason. So you aren't actually experiencing a real effect while playing the game.
Bunch of idiots run this game though. I just come back for the discussion section to help people.
👊😆
Love this game and the potential it has but ubisoft and many, many many things about the way this game was made, makes me rage and always leaves me asking “why???”.
