If this were your typical casual shooter, I'd agree, but it isn't. There is so much more important stuff (such as callouts, assists, injures, info, utility etc.) that K/D just doesn't account for.

Atm I'm on 1.3 K/D, meaning that i killed 1.3 players per death.

Personally, I have seen guys with 6W/L and a 0.5KD. I agree, as long as you are winning KD doesnt matter.

High K/D is always better than low K/D, seeing as it shows you getting s h i t done. Howeber sadly it doesnt encompass any of your supportive actions (injure assists, intel, communication, objectives etc.)

Also if you're like me and started playing ranked at level 20 it takes every season into account. So even though now I am probably close to 1.2-1.4kd average my ranked kd is 0.8 because of how bad I did at the start.

It depends if you get carried or not. I have a 1.6 on my main in Plat1/diamond. and a 1.8 in mid plat on my main alt. If you are queued and support teammates no its not bad especially if your deaths are from defuser plants etc. If you die and dont support your team though then yes its bad.
