Controller recoil WORSE on console!
Anyone know if this is intended? I usually play on PC with a controller and find recoil easy to manage. I dont think i even do manage it, its just naturally not so bad.

But started playing on console and recoil is insane. No one can hit each other. If you miss the first 2 or 3 bullets, youll be looking at the ceiling.

Isnt that a bit strange? I would have thought the opposite to be the case.

The better question is why would you use a controller on a PC FPS game.

No thats an extremely dumb question.

Why would anyone cycle when they could drive?

Why run barefoot when you can wear sneakers? Or for that matter why not wear roller blades?

1. Preference.
2. Enjoyment
3. They have much higher skill with their particular choice.
4. They like a challenge.
5. Trolling.

The smart question is why recoil is so much less managable on console. Maybe im wrong. But i played almost 1000 hours on pc and made the switch and it seems much harder to manage.

It's not comparing cycling to driving. It's more of comparing driving a real car to driving a toy car.

1. dont play shooters with a controller
2. especially when you are playing against people with kbm which is a lot more precise than a controller

I guess it has something to do with the POV setting you use, since console doesn't have much options for this. The higher POV you got,the lesser the recoil will be.

Sorry if I'm late to the party, but I actually have noticed this quite a bit. I began playing T-hunt on my pc with my ps4 controller to try to get better aim before switching over to ps4 to play (mainly because of just smoother gameplay in general on PC rather than T-hunt on console) and I have just switched back to console with the exact same controller settings and for some reason it is significantly different. Not sure what accounts for this but I can't imagine it being the POV settings (however that's the only thing I feel like I could chalk it up to be).

Hey, you found the same thing with recoil being worse on console? Is it better or worse on console? I use the same settings on both PC and console and for some strange reason, find it much easier to aim on pc than console.

Mouse is way easier to naturally go down while shooting (Recoil management)

and depending on your sensitivity on the controller, it will naturally be harder to control.

Do note that controllers on T-Hunt have aim assist (it can be disabled in the menu I think).

No i'm comparing controller on pc vs controller on console. I'm probably one of the very few people to play Siege on controller on both PC and xbox and i just notice from my own games that i cant hit targets as easily.

So to be clear, recoil on controller is always bad. But it feels worse on console. The sneaky way i play, i'd rather play on PC. despite everyone's god like aim, because at least kills i should get, i usually do get.
