I played about 500h on the Xbox One X, then a PC-friend wanted to play so I played some 50h on the PC using an Xbox-controller.
I used the same FOV and 60fps V-sync so it would be the same as console.
Then when I went back to console the aiming feels horrible, there is for sure some kind of input lag or stick acceleration present that isn't there on the PC, even when using V-sync and controller.
And I frikkin hate it, I can flick so much better on PC using a controller than I can on the Xbox.
Ubi is about to release a patch next season though that lets you deactivate acceleration and I hope that will make it feel more smooth.
Yes! Thank you! Finally a fellow PC controller to xbox to PC man to back me up.
In terms of an enemy seeing me first, i'd much rather be on xbox. You're dead in an instant on PC, even at silver. But in terms of me seeing them first, i'd much rather be on PC. As you say, you can flick easily for headshots on PC. I do think its recoil as well though. There are some guns on PC where it feels like there's almost zero recoil and i'm not hardly pressing down. Maybe i'm wrong, but really at times it felt like i almost had an unfair advantage with a controller in that regard. On Xbox, recoil is horrible.
So i wonder how we can test this? Lets hope the update sorts it out.Probably something in the acceleration curve.
