Short freezes (no crash) since Para Bellum

Since OP Para Bellum came out I sometimes am getting freezes ingame.
Those freezes happen at no specific time or action and they last for 0.5 to 4 seconds.
Also the ingame FPS counter of R6 goes down to 1 FPS when this happens.
Also, if one freeze happens in a match (or even in a round) there will be a few more - all with different time lengths.

I had a thought that the CPU usage of the game somewhat changed - that's the only thing I could imagine, if it's not a common bug of any kind.


My system runs the following specs:
GeForce 1060 GTX
i7-3770
16GB DDR3
Win7

My settings are pretty average and I usually get between 100 and 144 FPS (using a 144Hz monitor, ofc).

Any ideas?
If there will be no hotfix in the next 24hrs I'll try to redownload the whole game (also backuping, but deleting config files, ofc) and see if that works.


PS: Please never anyone ever again call freezes or stuttering a LAG. Lags are internet issues - nothing else! This is nothing but wrong and irritating...

Yeah i have got the exact same problem, happens about twice a game or so. Verifying the game doesn't fix the problem either and i don't wanna have to reinstall cause i doubt it will fix it

same, it's throwing me at 160 then suddenly drops down to 1 and freezes the screen solid for a few seconds. it's cost me matches and made it hard to be aggressive let alone anchor at vital moments.

I'm with you, mate. I have exactly the same focking issue with high FPS drops. It's happening practically regularly as you said. For example, in my case - keep getting these drops / freezes with time interval just about 1-2 minutes and with duration 2-3-4 seconds. And all of dat sh*t continuing to repeat the whole match! THIS IS SIMPLY UNPLAYABLE! I've already lost several important moments in the matches where I could easily win, but instead of it I lose cuz of dat DROPS! I never had such drops before till' now. My PC settings is nothing to do with dat ( GTX 970, 16 GB RAM, 3,11 ghz i5 ). Every other games don't experience dat, only R6 since last update. Guyz, if everyone knows what to do - say it, pls. Or in the worst case - we just have to wait til' the developers will release some hotfix for dat stupid problem.

yep same. my game always freezing in the middle of match, even worse, i have to restart my game or the game will keep freezing!!

When was dat update? I didn't saw any, and now don't see neither.

Idk a few hours ago but i just played and the bug is still present

It is a bug that is caused by having raw mouse input ON.

Once you turn it off, restart the game and it should be fixed.

Any proof for that statement? I'd much likely WON'T play without raw input, because it just doesn't feel right.... :/

Guess I'll give it a try, later... Hopefully this will be fixed in notime...

This is usually caused by high CPU usage. In the GAMESETTINGS.INI, they added a FPS limiter that you can adjust. Ubisoft added this for people who are having high CPU usage and stuttering.
