jackal and zofia both have good guns which imo are similar in the way how they feel, i think that you should decide on which operator is better based off of their gadgets

ZOFIA! The immediate swap between impact and concussion grenades is just too amazing. Plus, I absolutely love the M762 and feel like I get headshots pretty easy with it. This is completely biased by the way because I don't really care to play Jackal, but that's my suggestion.

I like jackal because he really feels like he is a strong anti roaming operator, not just the track ability and seeing where footsteps can lead, but that strong 46 dmg 800 rate of fire rifle is very strong against anyone who dares to engage jackal. Zofia has a solid and pretty balanced ak which seems to perform pretty well, but that launcher is so hard to pass up. I mained jackal since he came out, hes my most played attacker and I love that op, but zofia might be taking a little more of my time as of late because of that quick launcher. The thing is absolutely insane and the fact that you can just spam like 4 of those concuss mines into a secure area room or something like that is just insane, and combo that with ying and you are almost unstoppable.

To answer OP's question I would have to say the the best rifle from dlc attackers would be jackals. That 46 damage is something you would expect to see on a 600ish rate of fire gun, but NOPE, its sporting itself on an 800 rate of fire gun....thats insane and super awesome. That thing truly shreds.

I was kinda leaning towards zofia but i just dont really see how launcher is really useful, especially with the fact that you have to have to switch between modes, and if a person is on the other side of the room the time you get there after concussing it will be to late, it just makes more sense to get ash. Or am i wrong?

You are most certainly not wrong because in the end its your opinion and how you feel, the operators are designed so that other operators that are similar to them are still viable. The thing is though, switching modes is extremely quick and the nade that is launched is a straight up instant impact. It is meant to be a very quick mobile launcher and it performs that way very well imo, and the concuss rounds are useful to shoot around a corner and stun or shoot into an objective. Zofia can be pretty solid, but ashes R4-C will always be the crazy god gun its been known for, even after the slight damage nerf, that thing still shreds hella well.

As Kelp™ has mentioned above, it's ultimately up to you. You have your preferences and we can all give you advice but pick what feels like it would be the most fun for your playstyle. As I mentioned, I don't like playing jackal even though I know he's a decent pick. He just doesn't fit my style so I avoid playing him so if you feel that's how Zofia would be for you, then definitely pick Jackal.
