Are Laser Sight Worth It?

I don't personally use them because I think that it just gives your position away and I never really tend to hip fire but see many players using it. I guess they're needed for shield operators but for normal ones?

Maybe for some SMGs, but i don't see why would you prioritze hipfire over aiming.

in general no but they do help quite a bit with shotguns however they still give you away.

Use them with Shotguns and Pistols, especially pistols for shield users (Fuze, Montagne and Blitz)

Don't use the laser sights on Vigil, drones can still see them even if you're using Vigil's ability

I like to use lasers on the LMG's. Makes spraying in the general direction of the enemy slightly more reliable. I also use it on Buck, since it boosts the effective range of the MASS.

its personal preference. I use them on all attacker primary weapons, you should take any advanatge you can get in a gunfight

dont use it on weapons that you would hold angles with, that makes it more likely to be seen

Rifles and SMGs: No.
Shotguns: Yes. It tightens the spread even more than when you ADS, meaning more reliable one-shot kills.
Pistols: Why not? I put them on because you never know when you may run out of ammo and hip fire your pistol. It’s not like you’re going to be holding angles with a pistol, regardless.

In conclusion: Most of the time, you don’t want them. However, for shotguns, they are quite useful. Just make sure you are mindful of where it is aimed, so as to not aim it where it can be seen.
