that thing is beyond broken as a guy with tons of hours in this game im amazed that they didnt nerf him yet after quitting this game so many times.. his traps are literally everywhere, exposing everyone, his weapon is amazing, impacts, that thing slows u down and its noisy, i mean whats next ?

Well both Lesion & Mira are designed to slow down / scare rushers / stop aggressive pushers.
So maybe you should drone ahead the gu mines, pre fire common spots for gu mines, drone ahead common Mira spots, attack it from below / above, use capitao, Ying, etc.
Or play IQ with the commando, thatcher, twitch, people with explosives, etc.

You can easilg destroy gu mines by just looking at floor. There will be some usually in doorway or chokepoints. I dont get how people dont see them and dont even bother trying to destroy them

Its funny i made a post yesterday about people seeing my mines and destroying them.
I get if you do not know you can see them if you look or see them even using a drone (i did not know) but if you know that then use the tools given.
OR Don't complain.

Lesion's old damage model was fairly powerful. He'd all but force attackers to remove the needle quickly lest they take too much damage. Now its balanced enough that it still stops attackers from running but doesnt stop them from protecting themselves. All trap operators, with the exception of frost, now serve the purpose of alerting defending teams of attackers coming from directions they arent aware of. The maps are fairly sizable and good attackers know how to use the whole map, as someone said "its free real estate," so using traps that alert more than damage gives defenders more options to cover the map. If you want to counter lesion and you see a team relying on him alot, simply use IQ and spam her gadget. she can spot all his traps and those of other gadgets except frost traps.

They nerfed tick damage to 4
And his smg by 3 dmg
Thats a pretty big nerf also looking at the floor isnt that hard

Lesion has been nerfed and was just nerfed a few weeks ago.

First nerf was decrease in SMG damage
Second nerf was gu mine tick damage reduction

When you're playing against Lesion, you can see his traps and shoot them if you look closely enough or pay attention when droning. Also, IQ helps. Generally Lesion traps will be close to doors, windows, stairs, or other chokepoints.

He sounds like he plays only Ash and now complains because he dies rushing. His mines dont do much damage anymore, if you step in one make sure there is no one around you literally need to have a gu mine in you for 36 seconds to die from it thats enough time to reposition and remove it.

i see that people here dont understand how this game works in plat/diamond.. gu mine is an info machine, nobody has time to look with drones where are the mines cuz there are so many of them.. "shoot them?" why would i expose myself for a gu mine, its not that lesion is op its just he shouldnt be in the game.. there is no need for more trap operators.. i remember when frost was enough already

Never had problems playing against lesio, but that is because i main thatcher, so for me it is pretty standard to push with my team and clear before i enter a room. I have way more trouble against kaid and pulse.

Shoot them with secondary +silencer. That way you do not expose yourself. One of the best games i saw, was a jackal that literally shot the floor off with the shotgun and made lesion completely useless in the clutch.

Hearing a lot of whining for something that has multiple counters. You're so hell bent on being plat or diamond? Next season you'll get pick and ban, ban Lesion.
