Using rudder pedals for leaning

Hey everyone,

I have some rudder pedals with pressure buttons on, if siege recognise this input, would it be classed as cheating using it to lean? I guess driving wheel pedals could be used to do the same thing.

No, it won't be cheating, Because technically you're manually pressing the pedals. Cheating would be activating a macro to auto lean for you.

I know this thread is a year old, but I use my rudder pedals for siege. There's some software called joy-to-key which lets me remap the toe brake input to [æ] and [ø]. Those are the keys I have bound to leaning in game. You need to do something like this since siege has no hotas support and won't detect normal inputs from the joystick, throttle or pedals. Works great! Now I can lean and strafe at the same time and I've freed up q and E for other things. 10/10 would recommend :)

How did you play with the steering wheel? Have a G920 and the game didn't recognise it

You have to use software which redoes the device inputs to keyboard inputs or axis inputs the game recognises, like that of a PS4 controller. I use Joytokey for my pedals to work ingame.
