It really will take away a big competitive edge. That's why all the cool looking bright yellow hazmats from Outbreak don't fly either.

The skins would be a hit except you're this bright yellow ball with a white helmet in a map of brown and grey tones.
For sights, people would just pick the most precise reticule with the least obstructive housing. Think holo with reflex frame. If you picked differently you'd just get roasted for being noob.
Y'all gotta chill but he's not wrong. The red dot sight is actually the odd one out, the reticule is ridiculously fat and really limits using it to hold long angles to single-tap some guy's head.
Reflex shoots at the tippy tip of the triangle. Holo is a clean dot. You only see red dots in REALLY low ranks.
Agreed. The argument for red dot is more vertical lens space, which really doesn't compare to the fact that is also has less horizontal space than the holo and equal amounts with the reflex. I choose the holo mostly these days, mostly it just feels cleaner and you get a slightly wider horizontal.
If I'm being honest, I don't get why red dot sight has remained like this for 4 years. Nobody uses it and ubi knows this. If anything, just make it a CoD style red dot with an even fatter dot + bloom and a very thin futuristic housing. I'd use it for sidearms.
