Dual Channel memory for R6S?
Because I wanna know how much dual-channel memory helps increase fps on my gaming laptop. I've playing with render scaling to 100 and sometimes it stutters when looking at far objects. Also I get 40-50 fps on Favela. I would like to increase ike 10-20 fps at least when upgrading

See my profile, you'll see I have the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52

Well, I just need 16gb of RAM to run emulators. I just wonder if that other stick of RAM could hep the fps
well... youre the one who wanted help, cant expect people to go to your profile and hit the "more info" button XD

that being said the i5-8300h might be the source of your low fps, the mobile 1050 should be fine, i had 80-90 fps on a gtx 750 (with 8gb ram singlechannel) but your cpu is.... pretty bad for cpu heavy titles, while it has a boostclock of 4ghz its baseclock is 2.3ghz, so unless your laptop has a beefy cooling solution it wont stay at 4ghz for long, 4ghz being more of a marketing number in this case :erune:

Dual-Channel is usually the best option, but make sure to get enough RAM. Having 2x4 instead of 1x8 won't give you 2 0 fps just like that...
It definitely helps but probably won't give you a superb boost.

Ok thanks, I'm definetly going to add another 8gb DDR4 SO-DIMM 2666mhz RAM to my already 8gb of RAM laptop. So its going to be 2x8gb. I do see some games having really big fps boost like Battlefield 1 maybe since its very CPU intensive. I saw the youtube videos and its about 20 fps difference.
