Pop a booster on a day/days where you know you'll be playing a lot. You'll be able to grind out a decent amount of the operators pretty quickly this way. Also, do the "classic" challenges, you can pick up a booster(either a 3-day or 7-day, dont remember which) just by earning Ubi-points or whatever they're called.

Even if you don't want to buy boosters, you can easily grind out all the cheaper operators within a week or two, and a lot of those cheaper operators are really good. You'll have no problem competing in casual or ranked with them.

I really recommend picking this up if you're into shooters though. I held off on this game for a long time because I was more into CSGO, but now I regret not giving this game a shot earlier on. The game is super fun and I've put quite a bit of time on it so far. EASILY worth the price I picked the base edition up for on sale, and I'm sure I'll get at least a few hundred more hours of fun out of it.

Exactly, this game isn't ability or gun based. 1 headshot is all you need to kill someone.

To clear things in the room, you get access to all of the operators, but you must unlock them first.

The vanilla 20 operators will only cost between 500-2000 per operator, which you can easily get all in the first 10-15 hours, since you get like 200 per match.

The rest that were released as DLC will cost 10K+. I know this sounds like a lot, but don't worry about these operators. The base 20 operators are plenty enough to get you into the game. Non of the DLC Operators are must haves, either. Just play the game and unlock the ones that you want to play.

Negative. Year 1 ops are already unlocked when you buy standard edition. They implemented this months ago.

Bottom line: You'll gain access to the 20 base-game operators very quickly. It's only the DLC ops you need to grind for, but base-game operators are still extremely competitive. In fact, in any pro-league game around half of operator picks will be base-game operators.

just know you dont need all the operators
focus on getting the original operators, which takes barely any time to get, especially with situations and the 3 tutorials

cant confirm this, since a smart roamer gets you from behind or when you least expect it. sure aim is the most important part but definitely not everything you have to have.

what i meant by that is no matter the gun, you can come out on top by sheer skills, positioning is another skill of FPS that's not tied to OPs
but fair enough.

alright i am going to skip this game , looks like there is alot of grind .

There's not much of a grind actually, You can unlock all the basic operators (20) within a couple of hours, depending on how good you are.

The rest take a bit longer, but not really since there's some for 10k renown, etc. Skipping a game because of a "grind", When there's actually options to purchase the game with EVERY op unlocked for $40 on sale lol

BRUH.

Ok;

standard edition gives you access to all the base operators. YOU DO NOT need the dlc operators as some of the best operators in the game are from the base game, obviously some dlc operators are really powerful but it won't be so powerful that it's pay2win.

I think he meant base operators, year 1 are buck, blackbeard and all of that.
Standard DOES NOT give you ANY operators. you have to BUY THEM ALL with standard

The new standard does, if it doesnt then it's false advertising.

It's not false advertising since they never said it does.

This is on the store page. Also note that starter no longer exists, so they obviously have changed the editions.

I'm well aware of the change, no where does it say that you get base game operators. Sure, you can argue the fact that it should say you don't get base game, but the ONLY edition you get base game operators with is the ultimate edition.

I can go through the exact changes between editions if you want, as someone who bought starter, the change benefited me the most.

Nevermind you're right, just got confused because of the picture and the fact that i quit playing siege for like 5 months and thought they updated the edition again.

I hope 500-2000$ isnt that bad for the op
