How do i hold a grenade without throwing it.
I know the stuff about grenade cooking , but lets say that i want to hold an impact grenade, but I dont want to throw it yet, well, how do I do that?

Edit: something like a toggle grenade mode, where i hold the grenade but i have to press again to throw, or something like that...

Based on my knowledge there isn't a toggle option for grenades. If you want to hold an impact grenade, you'll just have to hold the same button you used to pull it out.

Hold the ''inserted button'' to cook it.
The default is ''G''.

whatever key is assigned to the grenade gadget just hold it. Your crosshair will flash and start to flash faster until boom. If you havent released the key you blow up, the end. Release button to throw and length of hold will determine fuze time. So a fast flashing crosshair means the grenade will explode fairly quickly.

Just hold the grenade button, say you have it as O. Hold down O for a few miliseconds until the reticle gets to the point you want it to be at. Then release the button and it will toss it

your impact grenade wont explode if you dont let go of G. i think its the activation key for any 2nd device in the game.

I only commented cause it shows up as no comments due to steam glitch

Ah yeah, I almost killed myself and a couple of teammates in my first casual match haha

I come from csgo where you can choose your nade, decide when you trhow it and even hold it as long as you feel like...

Anyway, after that big mistake, I decided to wait, be in the right position (and be sure no one was aiming at me of course), aim at the right place and then press the nade button.

But its nice to know that I can actually hold it. That will help with the struggle haha

Valve is too busy in developing VR games for the 1% of the community i guess.
