Can someone tell me how to have fun in this game?
Seems cool,but I just die...a lot, thats it.
7 hours in and I have not had a single minute of fun.
It's unmotivating. I regreat buying it.

hello, i am also very new started playing yesterday and 8 hours in. I think the first 4 hours are hell, it's boring af and i didn't enjoy it at all. I think what you need to do is watch a bit of R6 on YouTube or play Newcomers, play Newcomers because there are only 3 maps and you can easily get used to them and you can get used to tactics and such. After some time start Casual but have at least 4 attackers and 3 defenders. Honestly find the game amazing, maybe you just need to train more? Did you do situations?

Yes, i diod the situations. Can't find a peolle on terrorist hunt. I play only newcomer, and still get recked. So i went black to CS Go and Battlefield

well I mean CSGO is less complicated basic ♥♥♥♥♥ R6 so maybe play that to improve aim and reaction times

Situations aren't that great for learning. Play an empty custom game or casual to learn the maps, play t hunt by your self to refine your aim, and play casual to improve your game sense.

I had a lot of trouble with the game when I first bought it. It's not easy and some players can be very unforgiving to new people.

I urge you to keep playing it so it becomes more natural for you. Once you get an understanding of the game I believe you will enjoy it. If you want someone to play with, feel free to add me.

Dying a lot is normal in the beginning. People have been playing this for 4 yrs, now.

I play newcomer and still get recked.
Hated the game. Maybe it's just not for me. Whats the point of playing something that only makes me mad?

Newcomer playlist is riddled with smurfs (experienced players who buy separate accounts so that they're matched with lower-level players), so I'd just avoid it.

I just suggest you play T-hunt. A lot. Practice your recoil patterns and aim, and LEARN. THE. MAPS. Map knowledge is one of the core skills in this game, and as soon as you learn how to give/receive callouts effectively, you'll get way more kills and even wins, guaranteed.

Lastly, use your ears. Sound is also incredibly important.

Hmmm, I wonder how good you were in Cs:go, or Battlefield after 7+hrs of playtime. Were you a pro? I mean, me after 7hrs playing cs:go/bf did not even think of taking the game seriously. But the thing is, bf/cs games are pretty easy to learn. Maps are very easy to remember (at least for me) only 4 classes in bf... . I haven't played csgo for ages, and yet I still remember maps in my head. Skipping few months in R6S, can be like re-learning things again, new patch notes, maps reworks and stuff. I mean, I wasn't good in R6 in 50+hrs of playtime. So your 7+ hrs is funny. if u don't want to invest the time and effort to learn it,to swallow the "shame" of not being successful yet,not being to enjoy a single minute while y play, then the answer is easy. Uninstall and don't bother, why should you? , its just a game, whether you paid for it or not. Man, i have 220+hrs and I still play like sheet sometime. It happens bro :-) But if u change your mind, start playing, get few kills, learn a map, then u will find out the charm of Rainbow Six Siege. That the effort was not useless. Cause killing whole team (Ace), defusing a bomb while your heart beat like hell, headshot 3 guys through a small hole in wall, breaching a room with your friends, getting to gold for a first time in ranked.... Boy it's awesome. Never had that feeling in BF games. And I own a lot of them.Similar thing happened to me. I love warframe, but even after like 40+hrs,reading guides, watching videos, I still can not get into this. I just stopped, play only from time to time, for few hours or so.... And I bought some plat for approx 20€ (did not have to, but they deserve it). Its just a game

my advice to you is to drop the high expectations for yourself
this game is different from csgo overwatch and battlefield, it requires a lot more thinking thanks to the destruction mechanic, the result is in 7 hours you wont be carrying games, in 7 hours you wont be knowing the maps that well since the players change the map, in 7 hours you will probably know most of the operators and what they do

you are new to the game and your expectation is to be decent in a short amount of time
putting high expectations for yourself as a beginner is just gonna get you even more frustrated, especially on a shooter that is really different from all other shooters

You should have bought it previously to asking if it is noob friendly or worth buying. The game is not noob friendly. You can spend hours in t-hunt and situations to start learning a few things, but eventually you will have to learn on your own. Imo it is not worth getting into if you are a new player.

You should have bought it previously to asking if it is noob friendly or worth buying. The game is not noob friendly. You can spend hours in t-hunt and situations to start learning a few things, but eventually you will have to learn on your own. Imo it is not worth getting into if you are a new player.
