Why pick on bottom fraggers?

By this, I mean why in general do people on THE SAME TEAM pick on bottom fraggers, people who are struggling in a match, rather than try and get their confidence up? You're basically making them worse by telling them they're trash (even if they genuinely are) AND they're on YOUR team. If I go 12-5 and someone on my team went 1-1-7, and we lost round 7 in a Ranked match, I personally would say nothing or say: "We can win this guys, just keep good angles, play it slow" just to keep it raw. However, most top fraggers are like: "HEY YOU ******, YOU'RE TRASH, YOU'RE THE REASON WHY WE'RE LOSING CAUSE' YOU'RE SO BAD, YOU LITERALLY ONLY HAVE ONE KILL, YOU SUCK!". Please explain how this motivates the bottom fragger to do remotely better?

Understood, but it just makes it 10x worse because they're self aware they did something stupid, they're bound to do worse. Then, the top fraggers will say: "My team sucks" and lose their momentum and most likely lose. It's just low.

I've gone basically 20-0 one game to 0-20 another game. I can literally go from a game where my teammates are calling me "literally a god" to bottom fragging and just getting completely ♥♥♥♥ on. I don't understand how people can say others are "dragging down the team". It's just one match on a video game. Are you tired? Hungry? Dealing with other things? Distracted? Maybe you're just getting outclassed by an enemy that just totally knows your strategies before you do them.
Very few players I've met that I'm actually convinced are just 100% trash all the time.

tbh I think anyone who disagrees with this is just too busy licking their own behind to know any better anyways.

Well @OP tbh the in-game community is close to CSGO levels of cesspool now days imo, specially with the amount of refugees we got from there, Overwatch, PUBG & CoD, etc.

So to reduce further frustration only play with a full stack of friends you can trust. SoloQ it's a radioactive wasteland with many walking cesspool, so until further QoL improvements are made to clean that mess, I highly recommend to not play SoloQ in this game.

For me it entirely depends on playstyle.

For instance, if you main Echo and anchor the entire game providing callouts and feeding info then you're doing your job and i don't care about what the scoreboard says as you've done more for the team than the Cav that died mid interrogation because they B-Lined for the downed player.

That being said, if you play Ash or operators that people usually play when going for frags and you get ♥♥♥♥ on then i may ask you play someone else that can be of more benefit.

I do find the people that insult via the scoreboard funny as i've gone 0-7-2 in a few games over the years as Valk, and i've placed well above score wise than our teams top fragger.

Because a 0-0-9 at the bottom of the scoreboard is not fun to have in your match.

I agree with that, but sometimes hard carriers will refuse to give out info and say stuff like: "Well if you all weren't trash" and waste their team away.

That's just part of the game which sucks, and you can only put up with it. If i'm having a rough day on Siege and play bad and someone flames me for it i tend to just annoy them for the rest of the game. I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ if i'm throwing as i already saw the game as a loss.

I believe it's mostly smurf accounts. People intentionally drive themselves to low ranks so they can dominate. Then verbally ♥♥♥♥ on you because you can't, and never could if you're not a smurf.
