Tips for better and louder sound
I had problems in Siege with my sound. It was too low and i could not determine the range/direction of sounds (footsteps, shots etc.). So i found a solution for myself.

Right click on your Output device and select properties. In the enhancement tab check the "Loudness Equalization" box ( Lautstärkeausgleich in german ) and the sound will be way louder ingame. I also have no problems with identifying the direction and range of sounds anymore. I changed the sound quality in the advanced tab to 16bit, 48000hz (DvD Quality) but tbh i dont think that changed much. The loudness Equalization definitely works.

Hope this helps some people or at least makes it better.

i used to use this but it just trashes the sound of everything so hard, i would probably turn it on only when i'm about to play siege

Arctis Nova Pro wired. 96KHz audio quality with a changeable volume on the little screen. It can go from you are deaf to you will be deaf by turning a dial. I love them and highly recommend them for games like siege, tarkov, or anything requiring surround sound and higher volume. You can also make footsteps louder by using sonar and changing the settings in there and have surround sound closer or further away if you prefer it that way.
Most headsets only get as loud as windows allows it, which is safer for your ears. If you do not choose to find something studio grade or the nova pro wired, you will never have good/loud sound.
This is for other people since this post is old af.
