Is Iq useless?
This is a serious topic btw. I actually feel like iq is completely useless. I might be wrong though. Could someone tell me what she is usefell for?

Detecting Lesion traps, detecting Valk cams, Detecting Kapkan traps......
About the Kapkan traps... we all know those stupid players who don't look at windows/doors before they go through knowing the enemy team has a Kapkan....

I only play IQ for the attacking side its the best for ranked! number 1 Operator for ranked!

Still though, i feel at higher ranks shes useless since people are aware of kapkan and lesion traps. It being usefull for Valk cams i understand though, but isn't it a lot better to have someone like Jackal or Buck instead of an iq. I just feel like theres always a better pick.

At higher ranks she is excelling even more. The higher you get, the more important it is to communicate. Being able to spot Valk Cams, deny Pulse, Vigil and Echo (especially Echo and Pulse) and having vision on possible Traps and Gadgets is considered one of the most useful abilities on higher ranks.

IQ is superior to both Jackal and Buck, most of the time, on higher ranks.
Jackal loses effectiveness in higher ranks when not fully stacked or being able to communicate well enough to actually pincer attack enemies.
Buck doesn't have as much impact as many other operators and those most can do the same, though not as effective, but I prefer a decent Sledge or Zofia over any decent Buck player.

In the end it's all about being able to cooperate and IQ is pretty damn good.

On another note: I am not saying Operator A is better than B, imho the balancing is done pretty well and I can not complain about anything, as there is nothing special. Sure, shield Operators are not fun to play against, but that's another topic. Same on how some Operators are a bit too specific, but that's another matter, again.

Alright! Thank you so much man, i really apreciate you taking the time to explain me a little bit more how she works! I've changed the way i think about her! Thank you so much!

IQ is pretty harsh to learn, because she requires people to support her (like holding angles/flanks so she doesn't get shot from some roamer) and it's really frustrating, but once you learn her and get actually decent... you can win games because of her strong weapon choices AND being able to support your team with crucial information.

I am not sure how other people see it, but whenever I support my team by droning, giving information and denying devices ... I am winning more games. Too often I am losing because my team got flanked or were too slow with dealing with Gadgets, it's not because I am bad and rely on my teammates to carry me, it's because THEY have bad situational awareness and I am their (kinda iron willed) focus to make sure that no one gets me from behind.

And once everything is clear it's an easy push.

Good luck out there, and I am grateful I was able to tell you about IQ from my perspective.

I feel like the reason why i thought she was bad is because 99% of the time when i have and IQ on my team, people just pick her to rush because she is a 3 speed.

I know that feeling. Dear god I hate it. Same with people picking Ash, you tell them that a crucial wall is not reinforced and they don't react and instead run somewhere else... like... dude you heard me in previous rounds, I know you have voice chat activated and you are freaking plat with multiply thousands hours playtime.... It get's frustrating after a while.
