About the Kapkan traps... we all know those stupid players who don't look at windows/doors before they go through knowing the enemy team has a Kapkan....
IQ is superior to both Jackal and Buck, most of the time, on higher ranks.
Jackal loses effectiveness in higher ranks when not fully stacked or being able to communicate well enough to actually pincer attack enemies.
Buck doesn't have as much impact as many other operators and those most can do the same, though not as effective, but I prefer a decent Sledge or Zofia over any decent Buck player.
In the end it's all about being able to cooperate and IQ is pretty damn good.
On another note: I am not saying Operator A is better than B, imho the balancing is done pretty well and I can not complain about anything, as there is nothing special. Sure, shield Operators are not fun to play against, but that's another topic. Same on how some Operators are a bit too specific, but that's another matter, again.
I am not sure how other people see it, but whenever I support my team by droning, giving information and denying devices ... I am winning more games. Too often I am losing because my team got flanked or were too slow with dealing with Gadgets, it's not because I am bad and rely on my teammates to carry me, it's because THEY have bad situational awareness and I am their (kinda iron willed) focus to make sure that no one gets me from behind.
And once everything is clear it's an easy push.
Good luck out there, and I am grateful I was able to tell you about IQ from my perspective.
