Probably not. But watch dogs legion and ghost recon have store pages on EGS but R6Q doesnt so who knows.
I think Ubisoft plays it smart though.
Of course, you're not forcing people to purchase directly through Uplay thus keeping 100% of the profit, but they know there's a market of people who do NOT like to buy games outside of Steam or other platforms, So they make them available everywhere... Which is how it;s supposed to be.
tbh wouldnt be shocked if they released their EGS games on Steam a year later when sales die down and the deal expires so they can make a quick buck from steam holdouts.
The moment it does, most will switch to Steam (or other competitors), what I am interested in: are we going to get a code for another platform once EGS dies?
However,L4D2 or any L4D game for that matter is a master piece of a game so I wouldn't mind ubi taking a page from Valve's books to make a really good coop game.Fingers crossed that it will resemble more of L4D than CoD zombies.
